Whom we're looking for
Attitude. You live and breathe design. To you, design is synonymous with problem solving. You are action- and service-oriented. We care about putting out great products that serve our customers, and it matters to us that you do as well.
Design philosophy. You are deliberately unattached to dogma; when you see designs in terms of the problems they address, you can creatively iterate with ease in any given idiom.
Technical skills. You have some front-end coding awareness and preferably coding skills. You enjoy visually prototyping ideas and can work flexibly at varying levels of fidelity with product, engineering, marketing and operations teams to realise ideas that serve our customers.
Your work. We're looking for you to grow with us. In an interview, take the time to ask us thoughtful questions as well. Passion led us here, and we want you to be intrinsically motivated to do your best work and serve Yintran's customers on our mission to make payments easier and faster.

Role & Responsibilities
This candidate will be responsible for helping building a clean and effective user experience for our customers. By working cross-functionally, this candidate will understand needs from product management, engineering, and business stakeholders and will be able to work with the team to design and build solutions that fit those needs.
We’re looking for down-to-earth individuals who take pride in their work, strive for excellence, and maintain a beginner’s mind. The ideal candidate is analytical, outcome-focused, and a leader who gets and inspires results. As a UI/UX Designer at Yintran, you will
Ensure that established design standards are consistently and appropriately applied within design work
Engage with product management, engineering, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to understand project
Develop and present documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, and interactive prototypes
Leverage user testing to make product improvements
Bachelor's degree in Design, Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), UI/UX, or a related field of study - or equivalent.
Both solid aesthetic sensibility and the ability to apply design thinking toward creatively overcoming challenges. We want to deliver products that we are proud of sharing with customers, and we care about leaving the world a better place than we found it through design. You could possess many years of working experience or a not-so-long period of intensive autodidactic training - attitude, skills, and knowledge always trump CV.
Proficiency in visual design and wireframing tools
Openness and excitement for learning new technologies, workflows, and obsession with improving customer experience.
A bit on us: Yintran is a Fintech company headquartered in Hong Kong. We're from Hong Kong and from places all over the world. These collective international and local backgrounds not only set the tone for the global standard by which we benchmark our work, but stress the importance of planting the roots of what we do in local practices. In product terms, this means that we care both about pushing the envelope and about ensuring that what we build is adoptable and truly of use to those we serve - we care that you do as well.
This also means that your input at Yintran will have a direct and sizeable impact on the community and people around you. This is no small task, which is why common values matter: we’re the kind of people who, when we see a problem, we want to solve it; we observe how something has always been done, and we question if it could be done better; and if we see that our team is facing a tight deadline, we chip in to help, no matter our title. This team spirit and blend of research, design, strategy, and implementation make working here uniquely cross-disciplinary with opportunities to develop your skills in multiple domains (e.g., Design, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, among others).
